Students should make an attempt to see that their lives become full of goodness and beauty. When you go into the outside world, your name and form both undergo lot of change. When I see such students, I feel great pain. I start wondering whether these are truly human beings or animals. If one is truly a human being, he should set himself right when told once. When they go into the outside world, they follow many types of wrong paths. If students remain like students only, they would look so good, so beautiful, so attractive.
The outside body and the inner mind both should be clean and pure. Unlike this, once they go out, they grow beards, moustaches, side burns, long hairs, and present themselves as great beggars. To consider yourself as a man and have a macho image is it the moustache that makes you a man? Do rats not have moustaches? Do the cockroaches not have moustaches? So can they also be called as men? Are these the qualities of being a man? No, no. These are all indicators of bad qualities.
That is why we hesitate to a certain extent, to organize meetings of the old students. Once a year, when they attend these meetings, they remove all these (beards, moustaches, long hair, side burns, etc.) and come. But once they go out from here, they start growing these again. Such “dogs” are very few in number. But is it not enough to have even one such “dog” (to bring us a bad name)? This is not good. This does not lend the appropriate dignity and respect to our Institute.
