Extend lifespan of OUR Shuttle and avoid lay-offs. Contact friends and/or members of Congress   now! Investors not taxpayers should provide seed and developmental money to SpaceX (Falcon 9) 

and Virgin Galactic. Taxpayer won't enjoy potential dividends.Further, strings will impede not  promote progress in private sector. Don't pay Russia astronomically high price tag to fly our astronauts. SpaceX is already nearly $1 Billion over budget! It was Obama's idea to subsidize -   Read "Do you think..." at groups.google.com/group/newfederalism to find out why we believe that subsidizing is unconstitutional and socialistic. The $1 Billion could have been used to save NASA jobs (the historic NASA Team) and help NASA remain an important part of the technological engine of our economy. We say "yes" to private  sector space efforts but   "no" to the use of taxpayer    $$$s - unless we get the dividends!
