Hello Band Families!

 

We are planning a mandatory meeting on Monday January 31 from 6-7:30 to discuss band fund raising activities.  We need all of you there so we can decide what activities we can do together as a group and the dates which will be most effective.  Some of the ideas up for discussion are a pancake breakfast, which will star the kids as servers. a 5K race and perhaps a dinner and music evening with the Culinary Club doing the cooking.

 

Please all attend our meeting for more idea exchanges!

 

Also, we have only had 5 families who have expressed an interest in selling cookie dough, including two orchestra families who will not benefit from the sales since the funds are to go for the uniform fund.  Therefore Shedd and I have decided that it is not worth the effort and we will channel our efforts in directions in which more families are interested in partipating.  So no cookie dough fund raiser this Spring.

 

There are other dates to send out, and once I have them, I will forward them along. 

 

Please save Monday night for our meeting (there is no Monday Night Football to miss!).
