Hi Busy Band Families... you are about to be busier this week...
This is a reminder that EVERYONE attending the Ramona SCSBOA Festival
MUST pay the $30 transportation fee. This is in addition to the fee
paid by Marching band since that $100 fee was for Marching band
transportation only and this is for Concert band. Only 20 of 110
students have paid their fees, the rest of you need to do so (uh,
including me since I did not know this was on top of the Marching band
transportation fee... ). Also, if you did not pay for marching
season, you must pay $100 for the transportation fee as well. The band
program CAN charge for transportation fees, but not many have been
paying them. It is important to pay your share in order for the
program to function. With money as tight as it is, everyone needs to
contribute his and her share.
Also, we need parent volunteers for concessions for both the Area
Concert at SRHS on Monday night, and for the Spring Concert on
Wednesday night. Remember this activity beats any Date Night you
could possibly plan! For those precious few of you who have already
volunteered, THANK YOU, but we need more volunteers. Please let us
know ASAP. The concession stand on Monday night will need to be
hosted from 4::30 on (or I will take any time that you can come!)
You really don't want to miss the Area concert! (How many times can
you afford to miss "Hot Cross Buns"????? )
The concession stand will need to be hosted on Wedensday starting at
6:30 for the concert that starts at 7:00.

Note regarding the $5.00 admission for the concert on Wednesday. If
you have made a contribution to the band, which exceeds the $130
mandatory transportation fee, you may enter the concert for free. We
have a list of contributors who have made contributions so you are
exempt from paying admission for the concert.
