Job Description |

| |
- JD for Eclipse Plugin Developer
Responsibilities
- Design and develop features of our developer tools, such as compiler, debugger, source editor, refactoring and deployment
- Ensure the reliability and efficiency of our developer tools
- Conceptualize and develop a domain specific language, using underlying framework / tools.
- Enhance the developer experience by making the tools fun, simple and efficient to use
- Code primarily in java
- Eclipse platform and the frameworks / plugins build on top of it to build an eclipse based product
- Work in a dynamic, team oriented environment using agile methodologies
Experience in below: - Developing applications on top of the Eclipse platform and good understanding of various Eclipse APIs. Well versed with eclipse plugin development and its underlying architecture.
- Ability to define a custom product from the set of plugins. Configurations needed for creating a product and customizing the same as per your need.
- Maven integration for building the eclipse based product and integration with other build tools.
- Experience in CPU and Memory analyser to understand and improve performance.
- Eclipse modeling and language tools, such as EMF, Xtext, Xtend, Graphiti / GMF / Sirius, JDT (internals, not as a user!)
- Good understanding of Programming language theory, compiler construction, or program analysis
- Understanding / implementation of integration with eclipse debug framework for their own language
Desirable - JavaScript and web development experience a plus
- English communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new ideas
