Christmas Week

    

A very sincere and heartfelt thank you to all the children, teens and adults who were involved in putting together the wonderful Christmas play that the monks and congregation enjoyed watching and participating in on Sunday, December 16th. Photos of this very special holiday event have been posted on the Los Gatos Center website.

 

The Los Gatos Center needs more ushers for midweek and Sunday services!! If you are a current SRF Lessons student and interested in serving as an usher, please sign the usher sign-up sheet in the foyer or on the bulletin board downstairs. Training will be provided.

 

Volunteers are needed to lead the Second Coming study group on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. You do not have to be a Kriyaban to lead this service. Please contact Sue Leeder for details.

 

If you are interested in learning how to play the harmonium, classes will be taking place in mid-January.

 

Today, December 24th, our annual three-hour Christmas Eve meditation will take place from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.

 

Tomorrow’s Tuesday evening meditation has been canceled, and we wish everyone a lovely Christmas Day on December 25th.

 

There will be a long meditation on Sunday, December 30th, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.

 

On New Year’s Eve, December 31st, all are welcome to bid good-bye to the Old Year and ring in the New Year at a special meditation service from 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

 

The Tuesday evening meditation on January 1st has been canceled. The first Tuesday evening meditation of the New Year will take place on January 8th.

 

The Special Events calendar for January through March 2013 will be posted on the Center’s website in the near future.

 

The book room, located downstairs at the Center, is open from 12 noon to 12:30 p.m. on Sundays.
