Los Gatos Center Announcements – January 28, 2013

    

The first monastic visit for 2013 will take place the first weekend of February. There will be an evening meditation and kirtan with nuns on Saturday evening, February 2nd, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The nuns will conduct the regularly scheduled morning services on Sunday, February 3rd, including a guided meditation at 10:00 a.m.

 

After the morning services next Sunday, all are invited to stay for fellowship with the nuns and a vegetarian potluck luncheon. Please bring whatever tasty vegetarian dish(es) you would like to share with your fellow devotees: main dishes, salads, finger foods, Indian snacks, appetizers, fruits, desserts – the more, the merrier. Food may be left in the kitchen prior to the morning services. Any remaining food that is unclaimed will be packed up and taken to the San Jose Family Shelter.

The book room, located downstairs at the Center, is open on Sundays from 12 noon to 12:30 p.m.
