Hi there, It's a wonderfull project and i going to build one of my own. Only the dimentions I need to expand, so i thought to make the rods thicker and the steppers bigger. The 500w spindel is also a big improvement. Only i can't find the file to print the Z-axis carrige for the 500w spindel. Could you post it on instructables, please. I realy like to upgrade the cnc the you developed. Lots of thanks.

I did a lot of research before building this cabinet. Mainly looking at other people's designs. There are a lot of great instructables already for custom arcade machines - I've kept track of my favourites here - but none of them covered exactly what I was after. After taking in a lot of inspiration I decided the main criteria for my design would be:
Some of the instructables are clearly rather specialised, such as the dachshund wheelchairw1, made to help an injured dog exercise during recovery, or fun-based, such as making a mermaid tail for swimmingw2. Many other ideas, however, are very educational, and certainly many look both exciting and feasible for students to try themselves, with suitable help as appropriate. This could be as a project or perhaps as extension and / or extracurricular activities, or even in cross-curricular groups. The longer you browse the site, the more you find. It seems to be a very active site, with new material being constantly added.
