tendering my resignation from the post of Treasurer thrust on me

  Dear Fellow residents,

 Greetings of the Day.

Owing to unwanted misunderstandings brewing-up,  of late,

among the committee members, i feel i am not fit to continue

my thankless services as Treasurer of SEFOWA.
HENCE I TENDER MY RESIGNATION WITH IMMEDIATE

EFFECT..

I THANK EACH 0NE EVERYONE OF YOU FOR ALL THE CARE,

LOVE  AND COOPERATION DURING MY TENURE.

I REQUEST THAT I WILL CONTINUE ENJOYING THESE IN FUTURE TOO.

It is my duty to explain the background for my resignation.

Every time an election is held, few unlucky(i should say) people are thrust with

the thankless job.

In the recent days, as you all know, water problem has started, as our bore wells

are not yielding enough water.  Only the bore well under the security cabin yields

some. So it is necessary to buy water  .A rough calculation shows that we may have

to buy 2 - 4 tankers every day.  We should all pray to God to give us rains soon.

On 2March 2017, 6 tankers were bought. I felt,with the past experience, that it was

not necessary to buy 6 tankers.  Mrs. Chitra (Mr. selvam's wife) was kind enough to

monitor the purchase of water and so i went to her that evening to caution her about

buying  6 tankers.   My talk was with the intention of cautioning her and to avoid

unwanted comments about "water mafia"(which was once done).which may come up.

Mr selvam got affended and said i have lost all respects because of my behaviour ' going to

a lady in her house and shouting.  Incidentally, i had also mailed the whatsapp group

cautioning excess purchase of water , earlier that day.

I should assert that ,as a senior citizen doing a thankless job for the care of flat complex,it was

not necessary to lose my self respect. I too have my dignity and ego on my head.

The water problem may go worse and it we do not properly maintain the running of motors -borewell and

ovehead tank pumping motors - we have to unnecessarily pay more.

Already our maintenance charges have gone higher.  

I feel it is not right to charge more for water .

I should at this junction, appreciate and openly say, how Mr. Dey tactically managed the

water problem with the then security guards paying  Rs. 1000 to them for this. It saved a few thousands

of rupees for the association.  We need to have some one like him to do it again.

(i will still plead to Mr. Dey to step in and do )

I am sorry i have been blunt and open in saying this. but that is my nature.

All concerned,

During last week totally water dried in B block line on two occasions which necessitated to take higher loads of water so that the continuity in supply can be maintained. 

There is clear difference in advising or shouting at a housewife after barging into the house which shoes rude behaviour which was unexpected from any civilised person. All such matters could have been brought to the committee for its discussion. This is my point of contention which I had conveyed. 

We need emotionally balanced person like Mr Dey on board to handle such issues properly without any ego.
