Hey Mark-

A google group is pretty much the same thing as a listserv email list, only done through Google. It makes sure that we don't forget to email anyone, and it allows recipients to choose how they receive messages (email as they come, daily digest, website only, unsubscribe, etc.).

I just force-added everyone in the document from the GSO breakfast attendance list. So...now everyone who was there should be on this list. I also just added some random group managers, so that I don't have a monopoly over the whole thing  :)  That can easily be changed, if requested.

I'd like to remind everyone that they can post their Education-Research-Related stuff to:
the SREE GSO blog: http://sreegso.blogspot.com/
the SREE GSO calendar in the lefthand column of the blog.
this email list: sre...@googlegroups.com (or website: http://groups.google.com/group/sreegso)

I'm in the process of adding everyone to the calendar. I'll do that tomorrow, to avoid spamming twice in one day.
