Key Skills and Attributes

• Proficiency in PHP – writing scripts and code debugging
• Working knowledge in one of the scripting languages: Python, .NET, Perl
• Understanding of SOAP and RESTful web services concepts is an advantage
• Linux bash scripting is an advantage
• Ability to learn basic concepts of variety of complex technologies quickly and build high-level overviews of how these technologies can be integrated together (example: Blackberry Enterprise Servers, SharePoint, DNS, VoIP, Security, etc.).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server family
• Working knowledge in Linux platforms
• Working knowledge of Linux server distributions
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP
• Working knowledge of DNS and domain registration and administration
• Working knowledge of networking concepts
• Working knowledge of web servers, Apache and IIS
• Working knowledge of database servers, PostgreSQL, MySQL and MS SQL and SQL queries
• Working knowledge of ftp servers
• Working knowledge of SSL Certificates
• Working knowledge of internet technologies and hosting
• Working knowledge in diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• General knowledge of billing principles - subscriptions, documents (order / invoice / payment / adjustment), credit card transactions, reseller shipment
• Experience in the support of Parallels Automation and Parallels products is a major advantage
