Dear All,

We should look at http://srdh.maharashtra.gov.in and http://srdh.maharashtra.gov.in/srdhportal to learn how SRDH implementation can happen in a structured manner.

Congratulations to the Maharashtra team for coming up with this approach. Keep up the great work!

Best,
-Piyush

Dear Nitin,

This is a Maharashtra implementation, and I don't think test users can log-in.

You may refer to the attached document set for SRDH implementation in a State.

Oh; OK. Last mail was confusing.

It sounded like we can browse through implementation done by Maharashtra.

Anyways, thanks for confirmation.

Hi Nitin,

The objective of the last email was to explain conceptually how SRDH can be implemented. Different States may implement it various ways (example - for one State, focus can be on using the SRDH search web-service for seeding and cleaning databases, whereas other may focus on using SRDH as a readymade Authentication server), but the idea is that a common resident database in a State provides multiple intrinsic benefits for better governance and service delivery using Aadhaar, and States must take up SRDH implementation in a structured manner on priority.

Best,
-Piyush

Thanks Piyush; this is appreciated.

We have strategy in place and may look to get this solution. It is readily available with UIDAI... right? Will see that we initiate process to get solution. Some questions:

1. Would it work on CentOS in place of RHEL?
2. We have hardware in place but software licenses we would like to skip if open source will work.
3. Is HSM really required?
4. What is logic for sizing of SAN 53 as TB for state like Haryana with population of 2.6 crore.

It is possible that your data is not in Maharashtra SRDH. Request Maharashtra team to direct to the resident portal through which data can be added in SRDH.
