Dont be shy! I see a few of you have looked but haven't tried to
post anything - YES that means YOU.

Use this topic to try things out - just say "Hello" if you
like! It really isn't that difficult and then you can add topics of
your own.

Create pages to tell us about what your up to (include photographs if
you like). Use the Discussions section to to let people know what
races you are doing, arrange Thursday night training or arrange to
meet for runs etc. etc.

Still haven't perfected the accent yet, yez rajee gadgees. Right
enough. Er... aye, man.

Indeed, miles very important now on. Is it possible you think to do
the two, Callanish and Harris? Is that a wise thing or not? I am
toying with it but think it might take a bit too much out of the old
bod. Maybe do a half and a marathon?

Strangely, I got asked to do that last year - very embarassing. No
thanks.

Maybe I could get a job with the Scottish Office... er... Executive...
eh... Government translating all the guff into cod Scots Doric Gothic.
Mind you, they probably have all that already.

Maybe I will do the two, just for a laugh (a very sore one
admittedly). It will be of the 'plodder school' of running, however,
unless I can magically excel in training and lose 3 stones.

Yerself? How's life... ROSS MUNRO? - Yes, we know where you live!

sair taes are ristrichten my come back. But for the island srac coves
ah'll be hoping one or two of them won't be embarrassed to plot along
with me on the come back trail in the new year. If there's any
interest in an ol nag merely 6&1/2 min miling?
Aye for at least the first 400m! Looking forward to the Flett Trek ...
the great man himself may make an appearance - whether with pipes or
not ah dinnae ken!

Well, I wouldn't say that 6.5min milers are of the 'ol nag' pace, but
it's more relative to some than others, I suppose.

Sore toes, eh? I've never suffered from that. Does that have summit to
do with gait? Do you run on your toes? The 'ballet' method of
running?

How many have entered the marathon so far? Will I have to enter soon?

Kicking bad fitba's wi bare feet on sand is never a gid idea! Perhaps
I should just get out there and see if the body part in question
doesn't mind too much! I believe mid twenties at the minute?

Stubby toes? Ouch, very sore. What was this - clowning around at BBQ
on Traigh Mhor Tolsta or something? Tut tut! Do you still have that
mad dash there?

I will be subscribing to aforementioned slog soon, maybe along with
SRAC membership fee - who knows? I think I slipped behind in payment.

Is the boxing day thing still on?
