Good Evening,

Just a few important pieces of information for the week(s) ahead.

1. Heat Advisory
It is supposed to be extremely hot this week, with record or near-record heat on Thursday and Friday. We will still have practice as usual, but please make sure swimmers have stayed hydrated, and we will be cautious if it seems a swimmer is overheated.

2. Practice adjustments.
Tomorrow we will have normal 3:15 8 and Under and 4:00 9-12 afternoon practice, but will not have 13+ to get ready for Lip Sync. We encourage all swimmers to come watch the Lip Sync at 6:00 tomorrow evening.
Saturday, there will be no practice for the 4th of July. We will have regular practice on Friday and Monday.

3. Swim-A-Thon
Next Saturday (July 11th) we will be having the swim-a-thon. It will be during the normal practice time on Saturday. We will have music, treats and get ready for some swimming. For the 9-18 year olds we will have measured time to swim as much as possible, We will adjust for 8 and Unders. We are raising money for Comfort Zone Camp.
Comfort Zone Camp is a nonprofit bereavement organization who offers free grief camps and support for kids who've lost a parent or sibling.
