WATER COUNTRY

Let's all go and get cool at Water Country USA on Wednesday, July 8th!

We'll be skipping a day in Richmond's heat and missing a day of practice to head to Williamsburg to expand our aquatic experience. The park opens at 10:00 am and closes at 7:00 pm. All swimmers and their families are encouraged to come for the day. Meet the coaches in the park at 11:30 am at the giant Wave Pool called "Surfer's Bay".

This is not a required activity - it's just a lot of fun!!! (We have had more than 100 swimmers, parents, and coaches go in the past!) There will be no swim practices at SRA on July 8th since our coaches will all be at Water Country.

We have a group rate of $45 a ticket, but they must be purchased by Monday, June 29th by 6 PM!  Tickets purchased through this form are eligible for this rate and can be picked up in the office on Monday, July 6th.

A few notes: While the coaches will splash, race, and challenge the kids in the park, they are absolutely not allowed to be solely responsible for any child while we are there. So please do not ask them to "babysit" and/or drive or meet your child there. All swimmers under driving age must be accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for them and will be on site at the park. Also, we will not be organizing a caravan leaving from SRA at a particular time - we'll just meet at Water Country at 11:30 am in the Wave Pool.
