Volunteers needed -- AA walking audit on Friday

Hi Safe Routes list,

Thurston Elementary in Ann Arbor is holding a school/neighborhood
Walking Audit this Friday, November 7 from 3:15 - 5:45 p.m. We are in
need of community volunteers to ensure that the primary routes are
walked and evaluated.

For those not familiar with Thurston, it is off of Plymouth Road
between Nixon and Green and 23. This audit will help our committee
identify infrastructure improvements that we will request funds for
from the city and/or on a state grant application.

Please let me know if you are available! RSVPs requested.

Did you get this announcement out to the Thurston School Parent e-
mail list? (if there is one?) (I teach next door, at Clague - I'm
not sure if we could get it out to our school list on short notice.
Usually they go out every Sunday or Monday, and I'm not sure this
qualifies for an emergency note.)
