We had a productive meeting on Tuesday at which we actually started entering
information into the online grant application system. It really seems
everything is coming together nicely. Thanks to everyone for their hard
work.

SR2S Meeting July 14 2009
Attendees: Jim Rees, Ray Fullerton, Jean Rennich, Jill Miller
Next Meeting: August 4 at 4:00 at the downtown Library
Three of us brought computers and worked through the problems of getting
into the State online grant writing application, EGrAMS. We had one each of
Mac, PC, and Linux and all were eventually able to get in and edit. Right
now Jean, Jim, and Jill have accounts set up to edit the application. Jean
organized this and entered some of the preliminary information.
The State has recommended that we not have more than one person edit the
same section at one time, because the last one wins and overwrites the first
one. We agreed that Jill will coordinate access to the application. In
most cases we expect to email content to Jill who will then enter it in the
system.
Todd reported by email that he is trying to set up a meeting with Pat Cawley
to discuss:
- What is the preferred Madison/Eberwhite sketch (and was there a cost
estimate done?)
- Soule/Lutz options
- City/neighbor communications to gain project support (if we get the grant
we will want to be sure we have project support)
Jim has updated the School Grounds infrastructure list and uploaded a
drawing from Barton-Malow that shows the walkways on the school grounds to
be repaved. He also has new photos of the Ivywood entrance to the woods
where we propose to put in a new crosswalk.
Ray got us a copy of the AA District Bus Policy, which Jill was able to
upload to EGrAMS during the meeting, but with some formatting problems.
Jill will work with Jean to get these resolved.
We refactored the list of grant application sections to match the way they
are organized in the EGrAMS system. Here is the outline, from the Index:
