There are so many console errors in the application when i run it in release mode (by setting debug = "false" in web.config and buildtype = "release" in appsettings.config). Basically bundling and minification is broken here.could you help here.

IIS dynamic compression doesn't appear to be compressing the squishit output file

It is IIS *static* compression you want, unless you are serving bundled content through a controller
