At the core are two protagonists who start off in life as orphans fending against the streets of smalltown Uttar Pradesh. The two boys, Gyani and Pali (Jay Bhanushali and Akhil Kapur) grow up working in a factory that makes kattey - or country-made guns. They have no education - or the inclination to be educated - and are morally driven solely by the lust for big money. Their ambition is to be like Judge Sahab (Ashutosh Rana), the local don who controls everything around including the political set-up.
The job, if carried out right, will leave them loaded and also 'promote' them to the stature of influence criminals in the area. Director Kumar clearly had a crash course on the countless crime dramas that have released since Ram Gopal Varma made Satya in the late nineties.
