I'll confess we cheated a bit.   We didn't stick to the original route as distributed.  Instead we drove to a point just out the Clones Road from Monaghan and started from there.

Boy, what a day we had!   Through my own stupidity, I managed to loose the ViewRanger file and had to rely solely on the Wahoo.   It performed very well, giving me only the odd scare when it lost GPS.

Most of the roads we had never done before, many had the give-away grass up the middle.  We had lots of wee streams, old estates and farm houses, gorgeous!  On the wet leaves the descents were "interesting"!

We are undecided about next Sunday.    The Covid, has us a bit scared.   What do people think?
