Next Saturday we have very specific plans and they may not suit everyone.
We have a dear old friend, sadly besotted with Gaelic Football, who is trying to get into cycling. We would like to encourage him as much as we can and hopefully he will realise the error of his ways. I don't hold out much hope, but we have to try. He is even older than me, so before he leaves this life he needs to get his conscience clear.
Our plan is to meet at Portadown and take the train, with bikes to Lisburn. We'll then take the Lagan Navigation cycleway to Belfast (or near belfast), drum up and ride back to Lisburn.
So, the pace will be SLOW, SLOW!
All welcome.
