Thanks for that Margaret and special thanks to Marty for spotting it.  We have drummed up in many barns over the years.
The drum ups that stick in my mind are:
- the tree house in Monaghan
- the jockeys' changing rooms on Navan race course!
- down, close by streams in Tyrone
- many school yards
- at the back of the gaelic pitch near Doon Point
- in the egg station in Darkley
- most Westerly point on the path round Tullinawood lake
- in a graveyard near Ballygawley, when the homing pigeon landed in my lap!
- the old Quaker graveyard near Loughall
- ........
- ....
- Ah, there were so many.
Really, for me, the drum up is the high point of the day.  We are about to turn for home, usually with a tail wind and my belly will be full (home made soup or stew, sardines, bananas, dates, curranty loaf, .......).  ...........sigh...............
Next Sunday is the last of the month and normally we would be leaving from Armagh, but with the lock down in place, we are not venturing out.  Sorry.
