Hi Guys,

It is wonderful to see a JDBC driver for Android. This is the only JDBC driver that I could find on the net for Android. Keep up the good work. It opens up lot of possibilities now for writing database applications. I have few questions:

1) I see that the current release is 1.0 RC11 in github. What is the expected date of release of 1.0 GA?

2) Is the current version 1.0 RC11 stable enough for production use? My application is a simple CRUD application with a single user access, with requirement for BLOB/CLOB and primitive data types of SQLite.

3) I already have a JDBC application running on J2SE and planning to port it for Android. What are the features that are not implemented in SQLDroid that I should watch for?

Thanks,
Ramesh

Version 1.0 RC11 is used in mission critical productions systems where I work, and can be renamed to 1.0.0. The main thing that is missing is a test suite.

If you look at the source, you should be able to manoeuvre around. The known missing parts are marked with "not implemented” log statements, so they should be easy to find.

We are an open project, and we love new contributors :)
