'openssl/rand.h' file not found

I'd like to use sqlcipher to encrypt a db in an iPad app. I followed the instructions at http://sqlcipher.net/ios-tutorial/ and was unable to get a build. I went through the tutorial a second time, thinking I had missed a step, but still no joy.

I read through the thread here in this forum, tried everything mentioned, and still get that error.  

My build log is below. Let me know what else I can provide that may help troubleshoot this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's some more information. I was finally able to get this to build, and it's repeatable, but hokey. Here are the steps:

clean the project

in preferences/locations/source trees set OPENSSL_SRC to /Users/ron/Dropbox/Consulting/Energy Orbit/code/trunk/openssl-1.0.1e/

build the project. The build fails with the 'openssl/rand.h' file not found error.

in preferences/locations/source trees set OPENSSL_SRC to "/Users/ron/Dropbox/Consulting/Energy Orbit/code/trunk/openssl-1.0.1e/"
Note the quotes!

build the project. The build succeeds.

Note that if I clean the project, use the quotes, and then build, the build will fail with different errors - not the 'openssl/rand.h' file not found error.
It appears that some items fail without the quotes, and some fail with the quotes. 
I'm guessing this has to do with the string having a space in "Energy Orbit".

Hi Ron,

Glad to hear you were able to get a build going.  Could you try placing a copy of OpenSSL into a directory path that does not contain a space, such as Energy Orbit and try the build again without quoting the path?

Just in case it's not all about the space in the path (I think we nipped those issues a while ago, but sometimes they can come back), what does your Header Search Paths build setting look like, Ron?

I changed the path by modifying that one directory name so that it now contains no spaces, and now the build completes without error. So it appears the problem was definitely the space in the directory name.
