Summary:
Responsible for Autosys Scheduling Environments.
Skills and Competencies
o Performs heavy UNIX shell script programming using both 'C' and Korn shell
o Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Coordinating the efforts of inter-disciplinary groups. Use AutoSys for complex scheduling.
o Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
o Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary
In addition to the technical skills, the work also includes end to end project management of Autosys migrations (such as co-ordination with business streams and creating/updating migration reports and documents). As most of the migrations will be scheduled on weekends, weekend availability is a must. Experience environment is a plus.
