I have an IIS 6 web server with a web site running under the NETWORK
SERVICE identity.
I'm connecting to a SQLAnywhere 11 database server on a separate
machine.
I want to use a Windows Integrated Login to authenticate the web site
user.
I know in Microsoft SQL Server I can create a database user named
MyServerName$, and it will recognize a request from a web site on \
\MyServerName that is using the NETWORK SERVICE identity.
This is much nicer than configuring a domain account to serve as the
web site's identity, because it removes the need to maintain a
password for the identity account.
Is there any way to do the same thing with SQLAnywhere's Login
Mappings?
