For those who were unable to attend either event this year, here are some sound bites from the attendees and mystery guests:
"It was great, I really enjoyed the experience and it brought out just how many awesome careers there are in data science."
"I had so much fun! I loved questioning all the mystery guests (which almost felt like an interrogation) and trying to get information or clues out from them. I had a lot of interesting conversations with the mystery guests and at one point, I forgot there was a break in between! It was definitely an event that sparked a lot of curiosity and inspiration."
"The experience was great. It was very interesting to get a chance to meet the people who work in the background of some of the services that we use everyday. Even if they are not seen, they are the backbones of their field and we would not have their services if not for their hard work."
"Just like last year, I was amazed by all the participants, especially their thirst for knowledge of maths & statistics and their real-life applications. Inspiring the next generation of statisticians or data scientists felt incredibly rewarding, and I will certainly be attending again next year."
Look out for adverts for the 2026 events in about 9 months' time....!
