Computer turns off while antivirus scanning

I installed ESET Smart Security (NOD32) and started a full system
scan. But when it came at about half a way, computer just turned
off !!
So I tried with Spybot S&D (newest ver. with updates) and the same
damn thing, it just turned off. I killed several processes and tried
again, but with same result. I also tried to scan in Safe Mode, but,
guess what, the same result... It just turns off!
Does anybody know what is about? Is there any virus, spyware or other
shit that behaves like this?
