Version 0.2.1 released!

As the first message in this list, I'd like to announce that version 0.2.1 of spykeutils and Spyke Viewer has just been released!

Binary versions of Spyke Viewer for Windows and OS X are available at http://www.ni.tu-berlin.de/software/spykeviewer

Source installation is possible from the NeuroDebian repositories (for Debian/Ubuntu) or PyPI, see the installation instructions at http://spyke-viewer.readthedocs.org/en/0.2.1/installation.html

Some highlights from the changelogs (available for spykeutils and Spyke Viewer):

- New features for plugin editor: Calltips, autocompletion and “jump to”

- Experimental support for IPython console

- New spectrogram plugin

- Combined filters for filtering (or sorting) a whole list of objects

- New “Home” and “Pan” tools for plots

- Significantly improved speed of spike density estimation and optimal kernel size calculation
