No spyder.exe when downloading conda

Hi all I just started a python training course at my University. Here's my issue.

When I download Anaconda3, I can find Anaconda navigator, anaconda powershell prompt, anaconda prompt, and jupyter notebook as executable applications, but I can not find the Spyder executable/application. 

Whats weird is I can launch Spyder through the anaconda prompt and it works, but the exectuable file itself I can find now where looking through the files. Its really frustrating because whenever I want to open a script I can't just open it straight from the file but have to promt spider open first, and then open it.

Additionally, in spyder itself when I went to submit this issue through the help dropdown the "submit to github" box is grey'd out no matter what I do. 

I've redownloaded Anaconda a bunch of times and nothing has worked.

I'd really appreciate any help
