How to set proxy for Spyder?

Hi,

  how do I make Spyder use my proxy settings? I am on Windows 7 and have set my proxy in Anaconda, which works fine there, but it seems that Spyder

does not care about it at all. The "search for updates" menu item is also greyed out. It does also not make any difference if I start Spyder stand alone, from Anaconda or from Anaconda prompt.
