How to paste to Spyder editor from external file.

Hello,

When I copy and paste within the editor no problems.

But the paste is not working if the copy is done on whatever file (like a .txt file or so) external to the editor.

Should I change some settings?

But in our system copy and paste is working well in the editor.

Have you tried by pressing the right/double finger click and then chose paste option? sometimes this works instead of on cntrl/command+V.
