Kernel automatically restarting

I'm quite new to Spyder; any help/pointers much appreciated.

I've been running a script on a different machine, but when I try and run it on my new computer, it gets part-way but then the Kernel automatically restarts, with no context. 

Do you know what might be going wrong, or how I can at least get it to output more information so I can figure it out?
