[5.4.1] script and console tabs aligned in middle

Post version 5.4.1 on Mac OS (intel) script and console tabs are aligned in the middle of the pane instead on the left as it has been as long as I can remember. Try changing options, reset setting, uninstall-reinstall but still seeing same.

Anyone facing same issue?

For example,

middle_aligned.png - scripts aligned in the middle with no option to change it

plot_example.png - how it should be from https://docs.spyder-ide.org/current/panes/editor.html
