Max size of History log?

I've recently upgraded to Spyder v 4.2.5 and to 5.0.2 on Windows 10.

In the Preferences dialog, the History section no longer shows a box for entering the maximum number of lines in the History log.  And I see that the history.py file now gets truncated to a smaller number of lines than what I've preferred.

Do Spyder v 4.2.5 and to 5.0.2 offer a way to increase the max size of History log?  If so, how?
