code folding marker missing in Spyder 5

Hello everybody,

I try for the second time to post a question here, I don't know why I posted it yesterday, but it is not visible in the conversations. My problem is that I recently updated Spyder to the 5 version, but I cannot find anymore the code folding marker (i mean this https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/365293/93352722-c199ec00-f800-11ea-9bfa-c82afbf75d67.png). In the previous versions, it was always present. I tried to edit preferences but I couldn't find it anywhere. If somebody knows how to handle this, please let me know, since that feature was extremely useful to me (I bet to others too).

This was an installation issue and not a spyder bug, therefore it has been solved. Thanks

I'm having this issue too. I re-installed (without first uninstalling) and the issue has not been resolved. I have a Mac—how did you actually reinstall it?
