Spyder crashed during last session

I tried to reset settings to defaults by running Spyder with the command line option '--reset':

python -c "from spyderlib.spyder import main; main()" --reset

and also tried:

python spyder --reset within "C:\WinPython-64bit-3.3.2.3\scripts" and "C:\WinPython-64bit-3.3.2.3\python-3.3.2.amd64\Scripts"

The output message shown in the console is:

*** Reset Spyder settings to defaults ***

removing: C\Users\myself\.spyder\python-3.3.2.amd64\Scripts>

and still doesn't run spyder (it DOES start spyder-light, but it still shows the Warning window)

Thanks

What happens when you start Spyder with

python spyder

? What are the messages (if any) shown in the console?

Hi

I am experiencing the same issue, I run the two options and this is the result:

D:\WinPython-64bit-3.4.4.4Qt5_2017\scripts>python -c "from spyderlib.spyder impo
rt main; main()" --reset
find: '/C': No such file or directory
find: '/I': No such file or directory
find: ';D:\\WinPython-64bit-3.4.4.4Qt5_2017\\scripts\\..\\python-3.4.4.amd64\\;'
: No such file or directory
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<string>", line 1, in <module>
ImportError: No module named 'spyderlib.spyder'

D:\WinPython-64bit-3.4.4.4Qt5_2017\notebooks>python spyder --reset
python: can't open file 'spyder': [Errno 2] No such file or directory

D:\WinPython-64bit-3.4.4.4Qt5_2017\notebooks>

Kindly help.

Aziz
