Matplotlib plotting problem in Spyder

Hi,

This is a very frequent problem. Some plots don't show neither the axes numbers nor their labels and the ticks are barely visible, if any at all. The problem disappears if I restart the kernel, thus I assume it's a Spyder problem. See the attached screenshots, the "before" and the "after".

Matplotlib 3.7.4

Spyder 5.5.0

Windows 11.
