 UPDATE:

Today I downloaded the WinPython Package. In this package is the same spyder version included as in the anaconda package.

I did NOT uninstall the anaconda stuff. I just installed WinPython.
If I launch the spyder which is located in the WinPython folder it works totally fine. Launching and closing is no problem andymore.

If I want to launch the spyder which is located at anaconda still nothing happens.

-> My Problem is solved but I do not know what the reason of my Problem was.

Regards
Stefan

Hey everybody,
today I started to use spyder, which I downloaded with Anaconda 1.5.

Directly after installation the program launched without problems.
After a while it crashed.

Since then I was not able to relaunch spyder again.
I tried:
- Spyder in the start menu
- the windows command window
- to open most of the files which include the name "spyder"

... but I didn't find an executable file which lead to the editor.

I restarted the computer and nothing changed.

I un-installed anaconda and re-instlled it - nothing changed.

I wanted to use another spyder installer - nothing changed.

etc...

Now I am bagging for your help because I didn't find any solution in this forum, yet.

As I am new in the python-spyder-world I don't know how I can plot bug reports etc...
-> If you tell me how - I will provide you with as much data as I can :-)

Thanks for your hints
Stefan

P.S.: I have the same problem on 2 other computers, too
P.P.S.: I am using Win7,64Bit

Maybe the problem is because Anaconda doesn't come with pywin32. See our Issue 1325, comment #9.

What happens if you open a cmd.exe and start Anaconda's spyder with the --new-instance option?
