License of spyder5

I'm a teacher at school, I have a question to ask : in order to stimulate students' interest in learning, I want to use the school computer to install spyder, a free software that can write python programs, and then import pygame to teach students to write games. Is this illegal? How can I obtain legal authorization, thank you very much for your answer.

Hi,

Spyder is open source software, so you don't need legal authorization to use it. You can simply download it from here:

https://github.com/spyder-ide/spyder/releases

or with Anaconda and then start to use it.
