python-gnupg and Syder

I just posted a question on Stackoverflow re: python-gnupg. You can see my post here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/71352805/error-setting-home-directory-when-using-python-gnupg

 

I’m wondering if anyone has used this particular package with Spyder. Is there a chance this package doesn’t work well with Spyder? Has anyone used PGP encryption with Spyder before? I’m wondering if there is a better library than python-gnupg.
