I am trying to structure a long module by folding codes, but have not been able to figure out how to fold sections of code. That being said, Spyder automatically allows me the option to fold *some* of my function definitions but not all. How does Spyder decide when to offer code folding? Can I manually put in a fold? If so, how? Is it possible to fold entire cells?

Thanks

There isn't currently a way to do custom code folding sections or folding on cells. The code folding is only on indentation levels.

You may find the outline explorer more convenient for code navigation than code folding. It works quite nicely with code cells.
