We are pleased to invite you to the 5th Biennial Conference of SPUTNIK, holding in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State with the following details:

Biennial General Meeting - 9am till 12 noon

Lunch Break – 12pm  to 1pm

Plenary/Conference Lectures – 1pm till 6pm

Gala/Award Nite – 7pm till 11pm

3. Sunday 25th November, 2012

There are three categories of discounted/ reserved accommodation as follows:

Category A -  Le Meridian Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort

Diplomatic suites at ₦120,000.00 /Night (2 Rooms)

            Executive rooms at ₦35,000.00/Night. (8 Rooms)

Category B-EEMJM Hotel and Suites

Classic and Deluxe Rooms at ₦12,500.00/Night (55 Rooms)

Category C – (i) TL Hotel and Suites

   Studio Rooms at ₦8,000.00/Night (20 Rooms)

(ii)  Ventola Accommodation

     Double, Deluxe and Super Deluxe Rooms at ₦7,500.00/Night (19 Rooms)

Please note that free shuttle buses will be provided for delegates from the Ibom International Airport, Uyo to the various accommodation points, and to the conference venue. 

OTHER SIDE ACTIVITES

As part of the activities to mark the conference, the LOC of SPUTNIK, in a bid to complement the effort of the Akwa Ibom State Government in rendering qualitative healthcare delivery to the people, will embark on a two-day free medical service at the Cottage Hospital, Ukana, Essien Udim Local Governemnt Area, from 21st to 22nd November, 2012, starting 8.30am daily.  

Medical practitioners (soyuzniki) resident within the neighboring states of Akwa Ibom who, may wish to volunteer, should please get in touch with the LOC for necessary arrangements. 

By this letter, we request the various branches to confirm and forward the number of participants to the LOC for necessary action.  Also, members who have not yet forwarded their earlier requested digital passport photographs, name of institution attended, course/year of graduation, present position and place of work.
