On behalf of Soyuznik Nigeria, I would like to invite you to our National Congress.
The Congress, with the theme “Harnessing the Potentials of Nigerian Graduates of Higher Institutions of former USSR States”, shall take place on the 28th of May 2016 at the Nigeria Institute of International Affairs, Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos at 10am.
The grand banquet will be a spectacular night of awards, entertainment and fine dining, hosted at the prestigious Federal Palace Hotels, Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Soyuznik members have been graduating from higher institutions in Russia and the CIS States since independence. A considerable number of these members have contributed immensely to the development of this country. They continue to contribute till date.
The congress shall bring together over four hundred Members from all over Nigeria. These are mainly Policy and Decision makers in major public and private institutions in Nigeria. Amongst our members are Distinguished former and current senators, Honourable House of Representatives and Assembly Members, Permanent Secretaries in the Federal and State Ministries, DGs of Federal and State Agencies, Chairmen and Members of Boards of Federal and State Parastatals, Captains of Industries, Chieftains of the two biggest Political Parties.
The Congress shall also have in attendance, as Special Guest of Honour, His Excellency, Akinwunmi Ambode, Governor of Lagos State. The Government of the Russian Federation, through its Ambassador Extraordinaire and Plenipotentiary to Nigeria, His Excellency Mr. Nikolay Nikolayevich Udovichenko, shall be fully represented. The Governors of Sokoto, Osun and Imo State have expressed their willingness to attend. Several Federal Ministers and State Commissioners are also expected.
The Chairman of the Congress, Otunba Henry Ajomale, is also a Distinguished Soyuznik and he is the current Chairman of APC Lagos State.
The Congress, which shall celebrate the achievements of both Soyuznik as a body and various members who have served meritoriously in the Public and Private sector in this country, is a unique platform to get together with old comrades, make new friends with similar backgrounds, confer and proffer solutions to issues of National importance, network with Governors, Ambassadors, other invited special guests, accomplished Nigerians and Soyuzniki of all ages.
Delegates should arrive Lagos on the 27th May and depart on the 29th May. The organizing committee will soon announce hotel accommodation and airport transfer arrangements. Delegates will be received at all airports in Lagos and transferred to their hotels.
