Publication of a special compedium to commemorate 50yrs of Nigeria-Russia diplomatic relations
Dear all,
The Nigerian Embassy in Moscow intends, as part of its National Day Celebration on 1st October 2013, to commemorate 50 years of its diplomatic relations between Nigeria and the Russian Federation.Our company, Esther Thompson Nigeria Ltd, has been commissioned to facilitate the compilation and publishing of a comprehensive compendium with the photographs, brief profiles and the current engagements, of eminent Nigerians who were trained in the USSR/Russian institutions from 1963 to date.The commemorative, limited edition of this compendium will be launched at a Special Gala Night in Moscow on 10th October 2013, in the presence of government dignitaries from both countries, corporate organizations and potential investors. The Nigerian Embassy in Moscow also plans to have copies of the publication distributed widely in both countries.. To ensure the inclusion of as many Nigerian former students of USSR/Russian institutions, we are using this platform to contact the members of SPUTNIK and others who fulfill the criteria for inclusion
PROFILES GUIDELINE
As a guide, we require that your profile include:
• your full name (title, first name, middle name, family name),
• name of the institution/s attended
• location of the institution (city, area etc),
• your age at admission to the institution/s attended in USSR/Russia,
• the years of attendance (e.g 1969 -1973),
• if you focused on any notable field or area of specialization in your course,
• qualification/s obtained at the institution,
• your profession or business if still working,
• if retired – what profession/business where you engaged in prior to retirement,
• your memories of USSR/ Russia,
• your favourite place in Russia.
*Profiles should not exceed 300 words.
A portrait photograph in colour of you will be required for inclusion in the compendium. Please ensure your photographer presents you with the RAW format of a HIGH RESOLUTION picture WITHOUT any editing or photoshop work. We will take care of that before we use it
SUBMISSION DEADLINE
Deadline for submission of profiles and photographs is ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 15, 2013
If you require additional pages to profile your business or submit a personal profile exceeding 300 words, please contact us no later than 20th August 2013 for cost implications and space availability to avoid disappointment.
