KOMPAK Program
KOMPAK is an Australia-Indonesia government partnership supporting the Government of Indonesia's efforts in reducing poverty through improvements in basic service delivery and creating opportunities for work. KOMPAK focuses its efforts on three result areas:
- Supporting Local Governments and Service Units to better address the needs of basic service users;
- Supporting the poor and vulnerable to benefit from improved village governance; and
- Supporting the poor and vulnerable to benefit from increased opportunities for employment and economic development.
The Opportunity
The role of the Development Planning Junior Consultant is to provide technical development support to the planning of program activities related to strengthening village governance, village development and rural and community empowerment.
Key Duties
- Assist to collect program and activities’ data and information related to village governance, village development, rural and community empowerment
- Compile data/information related to program/activities and general policies of village governance, village development, rural and community empowerment
- Develop narrative resume/simple analysis on program/activities related to village governance, village development, rural and community empowerment
- Develop narrative resume on discussion results which relevant with policies, program and activities on village governance, village development, rural and community empowerment
- Assist in developing analytic report and recommendation and further discuss with other advisory roles as part of input on the implementation of RPJMN 2020-2024
- Assist in coordinating KOMPAK activities on sub-district and village governance strengthening and social accountability which related to main function of Directorate of Village at BAPPENAS
- Carry out other tasks and activities related to the scope of the assignment according to directions from and KVS Lead-KOMPAK

Key Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree education in all majors, preferably from a background in Government Science, Planology, Geography, Development Economics, Social Economics and Engineering
- Experienced in community empowerment activities and activities relevant to work for at least 1 year
- Have the skills to prepare work plans and reports
- Good communication and inter-personal skills
- Able to work in teams and work independently
- Understanding of gender equality and social inclusion issues
