Hi everyone,

I am in the process of calibrating my first SWAT+ model using the SWAT+ Toolbox, but I can not find a document/post that confirms what units my observation files should be in. My data is in mg/L, and the channel_sd_day.txt file shows the units in kg. Does SWAT+ Toolbox automatically convert my concentration data to kg of X, or do I need to edit my observation data to change the units?

Thank you!

I think you will need to convert it to the load units. That what i did for my own data.

Hi Isaac -

Either your observation data has to be converted to total loads or your simulated data has to be converted to concentration using the flo_out results (m3/s). I converted my observed concentration to total load, but I have event-based total phosphorus data so I calculated the total load over the event time period and then compared to the same event dates in the simulated data.

I hope this helps!

Best,

Liliana
