INTERESTED IN BECOMING A SPSP STUDENT REVIEWER?

The SPSP Student Committee is now offering motivated graduate and undergraduate
students the opportunity to serve as reviewers for the Student Poster Award. As a
Reviewer you will evaluate the merit of assigned posters and provide written feedback.
Taking part will provide you with firsthand experience of the academic review process
while at the same time boost your vita. The process is straightforward and requires
minimal time and effort. Depending on the number of applicants for the award, the
reviewers will use a scoring sheet to review 3 to 5 applications (i.e. a 500-word summary
of the poster to be presented) during a 3-week period.

If interested, you will need to be able to review 3-5 applications during August and return
them no later than September 16th, 2011. We do not expect that anyone will require the
full period to review 3-5 applications but wish to give our volunteers some flexibility.
