Hello all,

Just a quick email to let you know about another opportunity that has just
arisen: we have a chance to give significant feedback on the role that
online classes will play in the future at UAF, by composing a letter that
will be given directly to the UAF Distance Education Committee, one of the
committees that will help decide what future classes at UAF will look like.

I know from discussions with several of you (and hearing your thoughts in
class) that online classes are not your preferred mode of learning, so if
you are interested in contributing, I've created a Google Doc here
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1crlW-zaIeONKHofDCNRnjdVsfNCIpeMvmkylwueoL0M/edit?usp=sharing>
where you can contribute. I've also included a personal comments section so
that we can each have an individual voice.

Also, as a reminder, officer nominations for next year are happening now! A
ballot will be mailed out with nominations by this time next week, so get
those nominations in as soon as possible! You can nominate people by
emailing myself, or by writing the nominee's name in our anonymous drop box
<http://ansr.me/jSGue>.

Hope you are all doing well; please don't hesitate to get in touch if
there's any way that SPS can help you out in these interesting times!
