Hello,

District Staff are pursuing dismantling the highly capable cohort this despite the plans many flaws, the ALTF has not deliberated on their recommendations, that many of the changes sought are already allowed in existing policy and that there has been no public engagement. Please contact the Board ASAP! There is a Board special meeting of the Curriculum & Instruction Policy Committee tomorrow to review these changes:

Hello,

Thank you to all those who asked the Board to give this important process more time and allow the ALTF to make their recommendations, as well as involve the SPS community on any future wholesale changes to HC services. We would also like to thank the Directors for their thorough and continued efforts to increase access for all students to receive a rigorous classroom experience. With a foundation of the SPS strategic plan, proper engagement and adequate time to deliberate these matters we feel bold improvements can be made.
